Good to see Wardle available, I'd keep it simple and put Eckersley at fb then it's who starts at prop with Thompson and do we have someone on the bench who can give O'Neil a breather

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but, is Eckersley a FB or has he played that position consistently before at academy or is it just a suggestion to get him in the team, FB is one of the most unforgiving positions on the pitch and can be a really lonely place if you are not use to that position, especially at the top level
Cooper or Dupree to start with Thompson. However Peet may go with Byrne. Eckersley to FB. Might be square peg round hole but can farrimond not stand in for Leeming however they might choose O’Neil to go full 80. Farrimond looked decent against London finding space however understand London and Leigh are different kettle of fish. Would like to see Walters on the bench offering cover for 2nd row and prop. Walters seems to had the crap end of the stick with his appearances would like him, faz and Nsemba in rotation with the one missing out taking a bench spot. Hopefully keep them fresh

I might be wrong but he had a stint at Widnes last year at FB

I disagree about Walters, his performances have been average at best and, on that basis, he does not warrant a place in the 17. However, I am hoping that he will find his form in the second half of the season.

I get that but I don't see the point of splitting our first choice halfs up for possibly the next 8 weeks and then expect them to click back into it just before the play-offs start

Im not saying it is the wrong choice as such, as like I say I don't know enough about his career to say it is right or wrong, just saying FB is not necessarily one of those positions that you can just chuck a player into and expect them to just run with

He's definitely played FB at Academy or reserves level (possibly both) and he certainly has the pace to flourish there. He's been seen more as a centre/wing of late though with Regan Sumner and Noah Hodkinson playing more regular fullback.
