There was nowhere near 4,000 in the North Stand. Stop talking absolute bilge. Maybe half that at best.

If you actually went to a game now and then, you'd recognise that even having discounted ticket holders in the stand is better than having no one, which is the clear alternative when playing a club like Catalan on a Thursday night. It improves the atmosphere and looks better on TV.
If you want to make a real appraisal of British RL's poor attendance issue, start by looking in a mirror. 'Fans' like you, who have an opinion on everything but never buy a ticket, are a key problem.

It must feel terrible, one minute you were landlords and in the next breath you are lodgers and you haven't even been given the master bedroom but just pushed into the box room.
1998,2010,2013,2016,2018 & 2023.....I was there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Won''t let me quote the above but there was a big push with all the Wigan schools and football clubs. Both my lads go to a Wigan school and play football in Wigan. Naturally I gave my thanks and said I was washing my hair but its a good initiative. Saints do similar for a couple of fixtures- usually free to Home Bargains staff and some schools.
At the very least the club may make some extra income on food and drink.
They normally against Catalans or other clubs who don’t bring many fans do a game where they stick the community ticket holders in the North Stand. My lad plays at a community club and they offer discounted tickets for most games, tonight they stuck them all in the North Stand like they have in the past. Normally they are in the South Stand so no different to most games but all in one stand alone.
