Dont know if thats been done yet but there are many contenders eg calderwoods full length try at odsal in the play offs, carneys at leeds in play offs, rads against bradford at jjb in 01

"I read somewhere that Leeds-Bradford is an airport, Wigan-St Helens is a rivalry. I can't wait to play my first game against them."

Would love to say a Carney try BUT has to be Rads try against Bradford. Renouf was amazing best try I ever saw scored

Tackle of the decade was definetly Carney, when he tackled Anthony Sullivan into touch about eight minutes from full time in a 29-28 win at Saints.

I'd give him try as well for his play off effort at Leeds in 2003. It meant so much that effort.

Try Rads v Bradford, tackle Robinson on Sullivan at old trafford when he showed him the outside and took him into touch, or TL's on Mary at KR

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.

I would go for Rads v Bradford or Carney v Leeds.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

It has to be the Carney try against Leeds for me. Hopefully Ainscough may be the player to score a few more try's like that in the future, he looks like a player capable of it.

I think Calderwood's effort against Bradford when we were well behind would get my vote as the weirdest atmosphere when ever a try was scored.

Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.

Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

Esse quam videri.

When the last one went over though, it was the best.

Carney scored an absolute belter in a draw with Leeds in 04, right down the touchline just staying in play towards the end.
