How dead was the JJB today? I've never known it so quiet. Didn't it take until our last try for the drum to be banged?

Me and my mates said that we've never been so unenthusiastic about any game before. Was this the case for everybody else and what are the reasons, is it the uninspiring rugby or have we all just got past the point of caring?

It felt to me like a Challenge Cup game against National League opposition. The most enjoyable thing was sitting in the sun.

Probably the fact the only paying spectators were season ticket holders and we were playing a team who has no place whatsoever in SL. Then there's the double whammy of this game keeping Noble in a job for at least another three games.

Very boring game. The best part was after the final whistle.

Celtic epitomise the RFL's vision for the game, small time mediocrity, but at least they can say RL's a national game with teams in Wales, London and France when they go crawling to Sky and the BBC trying to get a TV slot slightly better than crown green bowls.

What about going to Scotland to play a round of games, is that not on?

I believe ths to be a big factor

Lots would never wish there team to lose, but speaking to alot of people they wouldnt be heart broken if we did lose because they know it would probably be the end of noble

i still think we need to change the clubs gone stale

A total waste of time and money.

Just as Millenium Magic was becoming a major annual media event the RFL drag it up to the dark depths of Scotland were they don't watch any sporting events in great numbers other than Celtic and Rangers.

If the RFL really wanted to establish Celtic Crusaders they'd have poached a handful of RU big hitters, more realistically on the coaching side, pumped real money into RL's Welsh infrastructure, and used Millenium Magic as a platform to promote the club.

Instead we have another mediocre, bottomless pit like London Broncos/Harlequins or whatever the latest marketing gimmick is.

True, I know of quite a few people who would've been quietly happy if we'd lost today if it'd meant the end of Nobby's reign.

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
