Does he ever? He’s a pudding in the opposition 20 but does his job in our own. I’d prefer us to improve that position next year to be honest but we have him in the team for the other stuff rather than his finishing.

We didn't deserve to win that - Hull were the better team, looked more like they knew what they were doing. We looked disjointed and all over the place at times, we only seemed to wake up when Hull went down by a man - we actually started to play some rugby then.

I don't think it would be fair to bag any individual players because it was a poor perfromance across the board, odd momemts of good stuff by one or two but far too many below par attempts.We never really got going for 60 minutes.

Some poor performances today. As much as Eckersley has been lauded over recent weeks, he looked out of sorts for most of today and its possibly time to take him out for a week.

I thought Eckersley was one of our better players today, it’s Keighran who needs dropping, him and Miski don’t offer a great deal in attack

We were awful for 70 minutes of that game but Hull played brilliantly, felt for so long we just needed to put our heads down and play basic rugby to get ourselves on top but we couldn’t do it.
We still showed champion spirit for the last 10/15 and really should have won it imo, 4 minutes to go with all the momentum and only 2 behind, we didn’t need to do anything crazy and the early grubber kick was not needed with numbers out wide, with Hull knackered we could have barrelled forward and probably got a penalty to tie it. It’s a kick up the booty we need and we need a massive performance next week, lose that and its game on for 1st/2nd.

Miski is a very good squad player but his lack of pace stands out when we are needing to go full length. I understand his first thing is to come inside at times due to his lack of space but had he backed himself im sure he would have got over with his strength after the Ellis pass. He was still great bringing it in and I’m happy with him in our side, he was not the reason we lost.

Just write it off and forget about it, we have these games, everyone does.

Exactly, we lost away at Wakey at a similar time last season and then won out the season I think, could be the kick up the booty we need but no Field and French is worrying.

Hull played very good and deserved their win.

irrc, last season when we beat you at home, didnt you go on to win every game or the vast majority of them? could be a good omen getting beat by us lol
