Leeds away is winnable but we could do with some bodies back. If Ellis, Cust and Hampshire could make it I'd fancy our chances. Problem is we can't afford any further injuries between now and then but probably unlikely we'll avoid them.

We’re definitely getting thinner and injuries from now, especially in the forwards, will start to bite but fingers crossed. I’m glad we have the games wider interest at heart in not pulling players out of the England fixture at the weekend and aren’t just looking after number one but it’ll be an extra fixture to get through. I think Hampshire is playing for the reserves at the weekend, so he could potentially free up a forward in Shorrocks.

Yes I'm hoping Hampshire/Cust to 6, Shorrocks to 13 and Smithies to front row (I can't see any difference between his current loose forward role and a prop forwards role atm). Isa could play through the middle as well.

We play Leeds the week before. Always seems difficult to want win for the league but not give too much away for the week later. Hopefully with Hampshire back we can play Shorrocks/Cust for the league game and bring a different spine in for the cup game

Yeah, no issues with that. He’s playing extremely well at the moment Smithies and if we can get Hampshire back, but even more so, Cust back, that would really help us should we need more cover. I did see some pictures of Cust on a bike in the gym, so it seems positive that he’s not on total rest now. The flexibility of the squad does help us.

Very tough draw, Leeds seem to have our number in knock out games in recent years.
Looking forward to it!
