Just like how Hansen was injured. Has anyone missed him? No. And no one will miss Piggy when we field a team of:
Phelps/Richards Roberts/Richards Gleeson Caromont Ainscough Tomkins Smith Fielden Tommy Coley Hock Bailey Lockers ---------- Feka Prescott McClorum Tomkins
I'm more inclined to share your concern over Piggy than Hansen. Hansen is a squad filler on a modest deal whereas Piggy is likely to be a much bigger earner in an key position.

I just think Piggy, like Hansen won't be missed, time will tell.

Tommy during the world cup was class at 9, far better to Piggy.
In your opinion.
I was there and although I felt he Played very well I wouldn't go as far as saying he was "World Class"!
If he played there domestically & internationally and performed to that level for more than 1/2 dozen games (A full season at starting 9) then I may change my mind.
Do I feel as a club we should be using him at 9 increasingly, certainly.
At the moment would I start him there? Not if Piggy is fit, move him in there for 10-15 mins either side of half time certainly!
If the Pig isn't fit then Yes, use Tommy there more, but that is more a reflection on McCollorum than Riddell.

Riddell is an average no.9 Who by no means could have kept up with the pace of the world cup final. He can't really keep up with SL nevermind WC level.
I never said Tommy was world class, just better than Riddell.

I wasn't there, although I'm not sure what bearing that has on the validity of my opinion. I thought he was world class. Unless your definition of world class isn't being able to mix it (and better) the best in the world in which case I'd be interested to hear exactly what your definition is?
