BN's mate

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

I think your Chairman has a bigger job on his hands selling the coaching job to potential candidates than Noble has getting your players to play each week.
None of us actually know the truth and I pay no attention to the 'in the know' brigade on here. Perceptions alone however would indicate that there's a fundamental malaise at Wigan that needs rooting out and sorting. I don't know what that is: players coaches or staff but it's pulling your Club down at an alarming rate of knots. Justin Morgan alone won't sort that - IMHO of course.
im sure the very same was said or similar along those lines just before noble came in ...................

Maybe Nobby knew it was you?
Seems an odd one if a coach was appointed to a non coaching position. I assume you had some kind of qualification to do with the position - not a knock mate, just speculating due to not knowing the job / your skills.

No it went to IL, and I have far more success and history in the field than the man who was appointed as well as qualifications, i am sure given the fact IL reads these forums and knows who i am as a poster did not help.
Also offered a cap from 1909 to the club and again had an initial response and then nothing, but clearly the club have bigger issues which is understandable.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

The fact that you heard nothing points to a very poor administration process within the club - at last, something that isn't Noble's fault!!!
Seems odd that the club went the way they did then, do you have a theory as to why?

When losing in the 2nd half a committed team would have stopped the clock at the scrum - what happended we strolled up like we were 20 points up (or didnt care).
I dont blame the back room staff, I think Wane and radders love the club and are top notch.
I dont think all the blame is at Noble's door either if we have players trying to get the coach sacked then they should go as well.
The players at Wigan have had too much power for too long. We need a strong personality like Wane or Edwards at the helm and let them sack whoever has a bad attitude. For too long we have signed big name players with poor attitudes. We need top class players with top class attitudes, one without the other will not do. Imagine Bell and Edwards in that team they would have eaten half of em at half time.

Noble had already assembled a strong Bradford squad that had dominated Super League and saw him amass a large amount of trophies in his time there so a move to Wigan was a new challenge for him after he had taken Bradford as far as he possibly could have.
Justin Morgan is still assembling what could potentially be a trophy-challenging squad at Hull KR so personally I couldn't see him moving on to Wigan when he has built Hull KR up from the National League's to one of the better SL sides not far off challenging for honours only to do the same at Wigan.
The only thing Wigan can offer is the money and the fact we are Wigan and if he did win us anything in the coming years he would be treated like a God -- but I'm sure the same could be said of KR fans.
Why would Morgan want to leave Hull KR for us? Hes got full control there, and hes been able to sign players from under Wigans noses. Walker, Dobson are just 2 thats common knowledge.
We aren't going to get a big name coach, IL certainly won't pay a fee for a coach and if true that he signs the players he wants, we aren't going to get a top draw coach on that basis either.
I think we all need to prepare for Brian McDermott.
