Yes, they have sold the 1,000 already.
I am No. 42 on the waiting list (I am the answer to life, the universe and everything)
And as to "If they transfer you, why not everyone else" - That is my whole point.
They have the ability to transfer calls and should use it.
I object to being charged premium call rates to order tickets.
Most decent companies will provide you the alternate number (i.e. the landline that the 0871 is tied to) if you ask them.
The stadium won't.
Therefore, I have been charged £21, much of which goes into Whelco's pocket, to be told that I don't yet have anything at all to show for it.

But the point is that the staff at my bank (First Direct) have the landline number to give out customers on mobiles, so that they are not charged extortionate amounts to phone them, and they give the number out quite freely if asked.
Same for my insurance company, and just about every other company that I deal with.
The stadium staff don't seem to know the alternate number, and won't transfer you when asked, which is wrong IMO.
£21.70 for "free" tickets (that I don't even know if I will get yet) is quite simply extortionate.
Anyway. Fair play to Mick Hogan.
I sent my email, and he called me back within 2 minutes (but I missed the call ) so I'll phone him back on my lunch-break and see what he says.

I'm not going to tie myself to any gates in protest. But it's p155 poor organisation on Wigan's part.
I keep telling myself that the growing list of problems is due to teething problems on the part of how the club is now being run. But it ain't half a ball ache, one thing after another.
