Did it last year, it's an absolute poop hole in my opinion. I'd much rather book a hotel on the beach outside Perpignan.
Hopefully in April it'll be no where near as busy as peak.

avoid lloret like the plague. it's a hole!
fly to girona and you can get the train stright to perpignan from girona city. girona itself is lovely and well worth a visit for a couple of days.

You could always stay in Barcelona and get the train to Perpignan on the day of the game. We did it last year. Stayed 2 days in Barca, got the train, 2 days in Perpy then back to Barca to fly home. The train costs about £60 each but there was no hassle. Just do a search on raileurope.co.uk Plus, Barcelona's a lovely city to spend a few days. HTH

Yeah but I would expect it to be full of Spanish seeing as its in Spain.
If you ask me, all the more reason to go there, to get away from British hooligans.
