I received some sad news today. A good friend and long time home and away Broncos fan. Who many of you will have known, Alfie passed away today. His health has been in decline for some time, however despite that he continued to attend our matches until the last few weeks. Alfie sold the 50/50 tickets for the LBSA for many years helping to raise money to sponsor the Academy. He was such a nice, a friend to all. I know I will miss him and I am sure many others will too. I hope that the club will mark his passing.

Really sad news - an outgoing and committed supporter, Alf was one the pillars on which the LBSA was built. His health had suffered for a good few years but he didn't let it get in the way of what he wanted to do. I remember the last meeting in the Old Kings Head where I honestly couldn't believe he had made the trip, let alone climbed up those stairs! Our love to you Alf and your family and friends.
