Lots of players and clubs going to have to work hard to adapt and keep players on the pitch.
Tbf there had to be a change, bit too long coming in my mind but reckon it's going to be painful until players adapt and refs are going to get a lot of stick.

Will also require Refs to show a modicum of commonsense which on a number of occasions has been missing from their RU counterparts.

Simply applying the laws of the game

And as long as fans are happy to accept that modicum of common sense is acceptable to them when a decision made goes against there team!

Most referees apply the laws off the game selectively otherwise if every infringement was penalised, you wouldn't have much of a game. You no doubt would blame the players, I think the officials also have a responsibility in that regard.

Said it many times, never seen a ref offside, or drop the ball or pass it forward. Never seen a ref throw a punch or tackle round the head.

Given they are there to ref the game and not to play it, this is rather meaningless. Are you trying to suggest refs never make mistakes or miss things ?
