Had such short term sponsors? Obviously any sponsor is better than none. Just hope we don't have to bash the Donkey to release any money from them.

We can but hope on both counts. You would hope should we return to SL, a shirt sponsor, even in London, should be an easier sell.

The timing and duration are bizarre but I see it as a win. You’ll recall we have gone the entire season without a front of shirt sponsor. We may be the only club in the league that got themselves in that position. That is exactly the kind of off field shenanigans we need to ‘fix up’, to use an Ecclesism. If this is an early doors attempt to correct that scenario for next season them I’m supportive.
