With no news flowing from the club it is possible Sunday's line-up will be:

Walker

Ulberg
Hoyes
Bassett
Macani

O Leyland
Horsman

Williams
Davis
Stock
Lovell
Natoli
Parata

B Leyland
Howorth
Allen
Monk or Parke

That is assuming:
- Silva, Hill and Eckersley don't extend their loans
- Raiwalui still can't be found
- Waine remains in transit
- Albert is injured from the Sheffield match
- Grant isn't quite ready
- Bienek is injured
- No other players are recruited

We could really do with those loans being extended.

Tomorrows 21 will be interesting. You can only "hide" so many unavailable players in there.

Looking pretty bleak. Not expecting good news on the loanees personally. Pretty sure the club would have put something out if they had been extended as an 'easy win' good news story.

Smiffy99, have AFC reserves got any big lumps we could borrow?

Can't make Keighly, but will probably get along to the reserves game against Hull FC on Saturday afternoon. Jude Ferreira named in the matchday squad for FC. I know opinions on him were fairly mixed last season, so interested to see how he goes.

Similar issue unfortunately.

Seven days ago the manager announced "Everyone has trained this week, so it remains a selection headache for me!". A day later the team played at Gillingham a substitute short (6 rather than 7) due to lack of availability. By Tuesday there was discussion of some U18 call-ups.

Tuesday evening at home to Stevenage down to 5 substitutes with a player going off first half with a hamstring issue. Manager now saying we are down to the bare bones.

U18's are away tomorrow. A 30 plus year old won't be playing four days after even a minor hamstring issue. So unless some U18's are pulled from their match, our starting position is 4 substitutes. May go up if some of the minor injuries recover, or down if there are more injuries!

All of the what would be classed as Reserves are out on loan, and in most cases can't be recalled (until outside a 28 day period that some of the loans are for).

So no lumps (or any sizes) not available. More likely AFC Wimbledon needing Oli Leyland for penalty taking experience!

Pleased to hear that. He struck me as a decent fella who wanted to do well. Things didn’t go as planned on the field but to be fair the team as a whole was a shambles so I hope he can impress for Hull.

Genuinely feels like the club is run by volunteers. If someone gets ill or has an emergency at work, jobs x,y,z don’t get done. Everyone understands. A semi-professional sports club with big aspirations:less so. Really, really confusing.

Ok so our plan for navigating a better season is to rely on Wigan. There are worse plans but I can’t believe this is in any way ‘the plan’ . Otherwise the whole management structure at LB must be on magic mushrooms.what a crazy way to go about our business. End of the pier stuff.

I know FC had a big wraps on him when he was coming through the Academy, just never seemed to kick on to that top level. I thought FC had released him tbh but like you say, hope he gets back on track.
