Scott Murrell will hang up his boots at the end of the season after 19 seasons. I only saw him play for us three times (2004?) But always thought he was a young man with a Huge heart and a terrier.....a real fighter. I reckon he would have been part of our play off squad the following year and a first team player at Quins RL. My fondest memory is of him sticking Stuart Littler on his 'arris and getting right under his skin.....
The set immediately after Stuart had patronised Scott is probably my favourite Broncos memory. The way the squad stood up for Scott was outstanding, totally legal but something special. Here's hoping Scott has a long and fulfilling retirement.
