At a very low ebb for the club it is worth saying how much better the comms have been recently from interviews with players and coach (notwithstanding today’s shambles I thought Eccles came across very well) to Twitter to the match report. Would have been best if this had been the case leading into the season but it’s a positive.

It certainly has improved. Now probably at the level you might reasonably expect.

That's like saying it was nice of the steward to bring you a fluffy cushion for your deckchair on the now heavily listing Titanic

Basic comms should have been a #1 priority, but as per usual, some stupid c76t thought moving grounds would "pack'em in" :ASS:

I disagree. If we’re going to criticise the people who run the club we support every time they do something inept or incompetent, in other words very frequently, then it seems to me when they get it right or improve, even from a low base, we should acknowledge that. It gives our complaints more weight and may encourage them to be less pony.

Your stance and you're entitled, but to me, this far into the season and eventually getting a basic right is no cause for celebration......

I agree no cause for celebration but it's good to recognise when something is put right. I also appreciated Mike Eccles honest, down to earth evaluation of the defeat.

Oh I’m not celebrating. Nothing this season has been worthy of that but I welcome and am happy to acknowledge anything that is better than useless.

Yes I think he seems a decent guy. It did focus in my mind though that the turnaround to the York match and the loss of 2 experienced players suggests we have no chance- a spanking on the cards. Also, might just be me but, clear he has no insight into the coach recruitment programme at all. It feels very much like the players/ coaches play and the other stuff happens around them as if by magic or not as the case may be. In other words no real cohesion or internal communication.
