It is very difficult to draw any conclusion from a scrimmage match.
Hodgson siad the following to the Hull press
“It’s a game but with restrictions around it, we might just do three 20 minute games or we might manipulate it in a way that one team attacks only for 10 or 15 minutes and the other team defends.We can manipulate it in a way that it’s not a full-time game, per se, but we can get plenty of benefit out of it and it’s more of a training scrimmage than it is a proper game.”So it is possible we were attacking for considerable periods of the game without scoring.
