I'm assuming he has replaced Langley. There are some Twitter posts that I cant fully access (due to being banned by the muppets at the club) where he thanks Danny for the opportunity.

From memory he's taken that role, alongside his existing duties.

The club really does need to have a careful think about their social media policies. This is getting ridiculous.

Yes, it was tweeted! and there are plenty of Tweets regular! don't see as many on Facebook thanks to their great algorithms, miss so many posts of friends I worked with for over 21 years?

Only person in sport that has ever blocked me on Twitter, is Sky Sports RL? and I have been a subscriber since they started with RL?

You imply they are capable of thought???

Judging by the matchday pictures posted thus far this season (with crowds), the average age of supporter has crept ever nearer that of the poundland oligarch. There are very few pictures of young enthusiastic fans, just pensionable aged folk.
Whilst the clubs efforts to build traction on social media have come a tad too late (a decade at least), I find it amazing that a club with 26,000 Twitter Followers & 11,500 FB likes is relying on busloads of fans from a local retirement home to even get 250 fans to games.

In short halfdan. Social Media activity is the least of the clubs issues. 50%+ of their fanbase has decided not to return post covid with many citing the increased pricing and lack of direct contact.
If the 3rd wave arrives and forces the season to be cut short (at least in terms of meaningful spectator attendance) then 2022 is the last year for the London Broncos to even pretend they want to get it right.
Contact every single fan, lapsed or otherwise and "ask them" to come back. Alas....it'll be a bus stop poster in Wimbledon, sticks in the ground and a KO time expecting 20,000dons fans to immediately be bitten by the RL bug....because that's what has worked so well everywhere else

Whilst it's not the biggest issue, I think the bans are hugely significant as a reflection of the way the club has treated / alienated fans and any roll back would be hugely symbolic. A quick win that would suggest they are owning up to some of the errors of their ways.

Writing to us telling us they needed to force up the average gate take and then undercutting season ticket prices with multi-game bulk buy tickets due to woeful crowds suggests someone is vaguely awake as to the damage being inflicted on the club. Even if the logic deployed is perhaps flawed.

I agree with your comments re lapsed fans. I'm bemused that after twenty odd years as a season ticket holder, and a purchasing record in the two years at Barnet I wasn't, the club haven't contacted me to see why I didn't renew and try to get me back. Doubly so give James Milner's comments in his letter that renewals were critical given the loss of central funding Even more so as I was daft enough to write off last season ticket's money despite not seeing a single game, suggesting an affiliation to the club remains. (Health issues stopped me attending last seasons matches. My absence this year is a minor mixture of ongoing issues and mainly disillusionment. I do intend to give the club another go later this year and am not totally lost yet.)

Incidentally as someone who isn't on Facebook or Instagram, I only know of the multi game ticket because a fan posted about it here. If only they had a new website and mailing list to publicise such things

Is this guy still involved? I noticed at Half time on Sunday Wardy came across the pitch on his own. Typically in the past he used to walk over with Langley. Just curious.

Have the asst roles changed?
