As we now have a start date for the season. The question to be answered is. Will fans be allowed in to watch the games ? I think certainly in the early rounds the attendance of fans is highly unlikely. The plan is for games to be shown on the Our League App. This will be free to home team season ticket holders. Otherwise it is Pay Per View. I ask this.1) Would you pay to watch a game ? 2) How much would you pay ?
For me, I might try it and see what is actually served up.. I do not expect Sky quality, but I will not pay for amateurish dross. I will wait and see what evolves.

There has been quite a learning curve for National League football clubs. The coverage and pricing varies from club to club. HRBFC have not charged and relied on donations towards broadcast equipment or club charites. Their coverage is better than most who are charging.

Maidstone United charge £5-£10 depending on the game however recently the games have been shown for free as the broadcasts were so unreliable. This is a one camera set up with commentary and basic replays
Bromley have a superb, multi camera setup - similar cost but it makes a loss and is bankrolled by the owner.
I suspect if we tried this, it would be amateurish dross, especially if we're playing at Rosslyn Park.

To be honest if the PPV thing is available EVERY week, I'll 'prolly cancel Sky Sports and just watch LB home and away via PPV, it actually might make me even lazier than I am about getting to games, lmao
Long live the Fulham-London Crusaders-Broncos Harley-Quids Broncos (again) RLFC!

See .Our League' are covering the Tommy Makinson Testimonial match, Saints v Wigan, pricing at £5 before the day, £6 on the day, wonder if this will be a standard fee?
Sky have their first NRL friendly this weekend, and today they announced rises up to £72 for Sky subscribers.

I'd sooner spend the extra £5 a month on Sky to watch NRL friendlies than anything on the Our League platform.

Firstly, there will probably be a large number of games, maybe even 10+, kicking off simultaneously on Sundays in the Championship and League One. Can the OurLeague platform cope with that?
Secondly, assuming OurLeague don't have enough cameras and commentary teams to cover all these games, presumably the game footage each home club is required to provide for discplinary purposes will be used, but will the RFL be happy to allow the home team's commentators, with their obvious biases, to hold forth on their platforms?
