Last ( football) game to be played at one of our former grounds tonight, some of my best Broncos memories were from the years we played there.
Rise like Lions after slumber In unvanquishable number-- Shake your chains to earth like dew Which in sleep had fallen on you-- Ye are many -- they are few.'
My family and I enjoyed our time playing at Griffin Park. Although the facilities were not the best. Having small kids at the time, we were well looked after by the staff. I remember the McDonalds down the road and The Griffin pub which we parked near and would often get a drink. It seems such a long time ago and I did not realise that we were there for such a long time. Games that come to mind were the thrashing of Wakefield. Liam Botham conversion from the far side line to grab us a draw against Leeds and the mid week International game. For me though, I always think of the Cowgirls whenever I think of Griffin Park. Happy days !

My daughter Megan was a mascot a few times at Griffin Park...She is now 27 and getting married next June.....How those years have flown....Loved our time at Brentford .
You can take the boy out of the Bush...But you can,t take the Bush out of the boy!!!
My kids were mascots at Griffin Park too. I remember them running out with Jimmy Dymock and Steele Retchless. I was reminded of the stubby bottles of VB Bitter that came in a bucket. Sold in the entrance at GP.
Wasn't one of the offers in the Metro £20 for a terrace ticket and 4 beers? Something like that anyway. I liked Griffin Park, and we got our best average attendances there too.
I think it was the best ground we played at. Lots of good memories of when we played there, the best one was when Steve Cooper (Homer) were mascots for a midweek game against Huddersfield. It was a red hot day so Steve and i decided to sit by the players entrance and have a cigarette and a beer after the game kicked off, we suddenly became famous when the Sky cameras filmed us.

Great memories from Brentford - helped by the great team we had that last season! The kids loved the Cowgirls, and it was easy to get to from Southampton!!
