I think we are safe in assuming that at best we are going to have a drastically reduced season. In truth, as far as spectators go, we may well get no more rugby games that we can attend this season.
So what do you think the club should do regarding season tickets? We have paid our money.
Am not a season ticket holder but this is in line with refunds from travel companies etc Do clubs give partial refunds? That means individual customers get there money back but could be the nail in the coffin for survival of the club. Do clubs give vouchers for discount on the next season. Advantage is this year financial hit not as bad, but its rolled over to the next season with reduced income, helps the club out but if club then go bust money is lost. Should some of the rfl loan be allocated towards fans getting at least some money back? Will some clubs ask fans to I effect donate the money to help clubs I survival fight. Legally I suspect clubs should be refunding season tickets are in effect a pre paid contract to provide entrance to an agreed number of games.
If a fan has a genuine need of a refund I hope the club would consider it - but only after the season is abandoned.
I haven't made a single game this year, I always miss the start of the season due to health challenges. Thankfully my job is currently ok and I won't be asking for my money back. The club still has bills to pay.
The decision as to what to do regarding season tickets does not have to be made at this time. How things work out as far as home games that fans can attend this season will be the deciding factor.
The club does have a history of doing things in a way that angers fans. Whatever they come up with, needs also to be put over in a diplomatic way. Our fans are very loyal, do not just go and trample over them with some crummy offer. I am sure our fans are sympathetic to the clubs plight. But they are more than customers. The administrators need to thing hard to find a solution. I do not envy them the task.

They are virtually given away, so I for one will not be demanding my money back. What was the point in taking part in the prize draws and the group player sponsorship.
I won't be the only one that has saved a fortune in travel and associated costs, so in the big scheme I'm quids in. We live in tough times, which is why I have been happy to take vouchers from hotel operators to protect jobs, but have taken cash from Northern Rail as they are nationalised.

I'm in the fortunate position that I would accept not having my refund returned for mine and son's Gold tix if that relatively small amount of money 1) can help retain the current squad and 2) a minor reduction is seen in next years tix price. Equally, I do appreciate the position of Bosty and others.
