Yesterday the U19s played a fantastic game at Castleford and were unlucky to lose right at the end. However I am told that we played really well and team was a credit to the club. Kai PP was the LBSA man of the match, which was well deserved. On a Widnes forum following our win on Thursday. Envious comments were made regarding our club bring players through to the first team. I think we had four playing that night. Anyway, well done to all concerned.
Bang on bosty, good to see the young lads competing well with the heartland teams. Think it speaks volumes for the club that they are feeding local lads through rather than buying in.
When you think that the kids from the heartlands have probably played Rugby League from a very young age. Our lads have picked up the game in their teens, switching from other sports. It shows how well coached they are in being so competitive.
