I agree. We do not rely on DR/Loans, we try and "grow" our own and it seems to be doing ok. Big game next week but things are looking good and the top 4 will see us pocket some useful cash to spend on next years squad (unless we cock it up)

Top of the league as Toronto are the only team in the championship to play without jetlag costing other teams 4points as they lost to Toronto through travelling out and then lost to their next home team game through jetlag travelling back. It is unfair advantage to them. Also consider a lot of championship players have to go out to work Monday to Friday then train after work then play sat/Sunday so don't need this extra tirednrss

Recovery from jet lag is usually 1 day for every time zone change, so arrive back on mon gives enough recovery time for a game the following Sunday, so sort of makes the next home game argument a bit invalid.
But that’s by the by, good on you WQ for starting the thread and admitting the initials thoughts have been proved wrong about wardy! Interesting that not a lot of the other doom mongerers have not popped in to say they were wrong in the assessment.
