Just my opinion, but I think the two losses over the easter period shows our real standing in the league. It is also when we will see if Wardy has got what it takes to be a decent coach or if he will go down the Rob Powell path. The Halifax game is really important, I think it’s a must win otherwise we could start a slide, if we lose next week Rochdale and dewsbury will have us in there sights and the players could start to have confidence issues. I reckon the table standings as they are now, will not look much different at the end of round 23.

Didn't notice any of your players suffer a bad injury, just the standard 'one player walks off, and a sub comes on'. Although Eddie Battye did get replaced near the end, when he was having a good game.

There's a saying in business that star sales people don't always make great Sales Managers.......Ward has proven he can train the guys and coach them on the park, but it's his man management skills that will need to come to the fore now more than anything. 2 Losses don't make us a bad team, but he needs to address the "why" we lost and what the lads will do to stop the rot, as much as he needs them back on the training paddock....6 points from the next 3 and we'll be asking ourselves what we were worried about.....anything less and Leigh will be snapping at our heels.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

He was moved to the bench before kick off,but still played.
Mark Ioane went off early in the first half, never to return. Eddie Battye put in a shift as his replacement. Actually we were second best, but then we never get a result up there. I have been there four times now and never seen us win.
