Player 418, Jon Wells has been appointed Director of Rugby at Castleford, a club that he played for prior to joining us in our Quins RL days.
Jon will continue to work with Sky.

You have to say the bloke knows his Rugby, his input for sky, apart from some of the brilliant commentary one liners (colder than a penguins flipper), is the best thing about the whole set up. He can pick out some plays that others don’t see.
Not sure I like pundits working for a club as well as commenting on games but let’s see.
And to top it off he is a bloody nice bloke

It's a pity he couldn't do a job for us when he finished playing. Smart guy

Yes wouldn't go far wrong with your own legal eagle in the ranks. Nice bloke - great understanding of rugby and an ethical person

Jon Wells played 44 games for the London Broncos before we became Quins RL, playing both as a Winger and a FB......

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

That's right, he joined us when we were at Brentford. We had a presentation pre season at that building by the river.
Tough guy Mitch Stringer was given the microphone to speak but declined and Wellsy took it and as I remember it spoke very well.

Watermans centre.......I believe if we had stayed there (Griffin Park) we'd be on 8k gates and still in SL.

I liked Griffin Park, the pitch was a bit small though.
