Batley who also did not play this weekend have won two out of three games and that loss was to Leigh, so they are no mugs.
I would expect us at home to be too much for them. It would be nice to put a few points on the bulldogs to improve our points difference.

Why is a mid table team verses a lower end team massive?

As long as the broncos go into this game with the right mindset it should be a decent result, they just need to make sure they don’t take there foot off the gas and cruise, Fev nearly made em pay for that attitude.

As I posted earlier we should win comfortably and the week off should allow any bumps and bruises to clear up and for Kear and others to get nearer to full fitness. I agree CMG/northernbloke it would be beneficial long-term for us if Halifax turn over Leigh ( a brief look at their website suggests a club in a hole and still digging). Ditto if Sheffield could turnover Toronto.........

Batley have won 2 from 3, and are better than most people think. If we switch off we could lose this. Get the attitude correct and we will win easily, but Bately are good enough to beat us if we dont perform. We should win but I dont think it will be 30+, I have us more winning by 2 scores in a tight scrappy match, something like 24-10.

whilst I agree that the winning margin is unlikely to be 30+, we should win comfortably. Batley's 2 wins were against Barrow and Swinton, and they lost by 20+ to Leigh. so I don't see any reason for concern, unless we switch off. In fairness to Ward, apart from a spell against Fev, we have been more disciplined and less likely to have those "sleepy 10/15 minutes" which plaqued us in the early part of last year

That’s why we have to go into it with the right mindset! 2 from 3 they are not going too bad but as Brian has said they have beaten arguably the 2 basement teams, so it should be a decent win. But no going to sleep or no assuming they will be a walkover.
