SKOLARS FIELD 16 BRITS FOR SECOND WEEK!
Northern Rail Cup 22 February 2009 - London Skolars 14 Doncaster 40
Skolars are fielding a predominately British side including mostly London and South East produced players. For the second time in a week Skolars came up against a side in the division above theirs and although they fell to defeat it was an improved performance in their first home game of the season. Skolars took an early lead after some inventive kicking play earned them a good field position, Austen Aggrey finishing off the move with a try in the corner.

I think it is fantastic what you are doing and also promoting. Is this a club strategy or are you being forced into it due to your commercial situation or for that matter some other reason?
Finally, how do you think it will impact on and off the field both positively and negatively?

Crowds at Skolars are still piddle poor.
It's Good for the Game that a semi pro club is fielding southerners, but is it going to help the Skolars kick on to appeal anything other than the RL enthusiast?
