If I do go to Newcastle game. I will go by train. I am not driving, it would be a nightmare doing so.

Here’s hoping the nightmare ends when we get in the ground!

Ticket prices reduced for the next two games. If bought online £20/£15. I can't do the Friday. Getting home pushing midnight if I went and I am meeting my son in Yorkshire the next day

I'm guessing the answer is no, as this is a football ground, but can you take a flask? We used to take a flask to Ealing. If they have MyPie will be trying them, but generally we usually take a flask

Simple answer I don’t know but my son brought in a water bottle so it wouldn’t surprise me and I’m sure there would be a work around so you wouldn’t actually lose the flask.

The rules for football are quite strict as you know. I'd love a beer at my seat; which we do for the Ladies matches. However, you SHOULD be okay. This is what AFC Wimbledon publish on both their individual and general Match Day Guides:

Fans are permitted to bring water in a clear plastic bottle if they wish. However, no glass, cans, or metal bottles will be allowed. Thermos flasks are permitted.

I doubt MyPie will be there, although there is a chance as with the football the day before it's more likely they will do the "double". Tried their guest pie a few weeks ago. Steak, Cheese and Jalapenos. Wasn't convinced it would work, but loved it. I often start to lose interest in food after a few times, but I'm still a fan. By default you get plenty of gravy (which is very tasty). They don't skimp on the quantity.

As a local, still absolutely no visibility/marketing within the community. I think even the e-mails from the club have stopped for a couple of months. The only info I now get are e-mails from AFC Wimbledon advertising the next match and at Half Time in AFC Wimbledon home matches from the Stadium Announcer when the next Broncos match is mentioned if it's the next day or the following week.

The football club recently got local shops/businesses to allow posters in their windows publicising upcoming fixtures. They don't even really need to do it as despite not winning a match since 7th December, the matches are all as good as sold out (some singles, last minute Season Ticket Returns or Hospitality available). Over 8,500 on Monday. Surely the Broncos could do something like that?

As I've said before, a huge number of the football fans no longer live locally. Season Ticket holders as far away as Doncaster for example. It's the local community that needs targetting. The number of people I've spoken to who can't get tickets to the football isn't small. Get locals into the stadium, because they will be surprised and impressed with the facility on their doorstep. Get people in and you WILL get returnees. I don't think it's prices (currently) that is the issue, it's the total lack of awareness in the community of the presence of the Broncos

This is both the most horrifying, frustrating and predictable description of the Wimbledon move marketing campaign.
Loubser has to go.

Orange is spot on here. Really disappointing and, sadly, predictable (and indeed predicted on this forum). To compound the problems it’s difficult to see a natural jumping on point now. Dewsbury is a key fixture that we might win. It we haven’t really done much to attract t attention. Newcastle is a Friday night game different vibe and audience no effort again seemingly and then we don’t play at home. Until the summer. (And of course the season could in essence be over then). Possibly we could try and piggy back onto any energy created by the new football season but who knows.....
