Yep Sports cafe were the main shirt sponsor those years with the decision made to not centralise the logo as it would have been lost in the pattern. The point here is that we have 250,000-400,000 viewers on TV (more if were on BBC) and yet nobody wants to be on the shirt as main sponsor? Worst case scenario, Hughes should choose a charity and give it to them for free.....but a blank black T-shirt in SL isn't going to deliver a saleable story for sponsors in 2025's 2nd tier.
Still says final item.may differ with addition of sponsors. I doubt many will order the black one until we know and I certainly will hold back on the away shirt as it has the potential to be ruined by a centre sponsor

I'm astonished we (still) don't have a main shirt sponsor given the amount of TV that has been promised this season. Mind you my 2024 jersey still hasn't arrived so there is hope yet!

I'd hazzard a guess they might have been holding out for slightly more money than London Broncos. Bartercard have popped up on the Cornwall shirt. Did we not get any benefit from them being on the shirt on and off for over a decade?

2 days out from the season and with official launch events over and the media coverage, including photos of club captains etc complete, we are heading into what will probably be our last shot at SL for at least 5 years with no main shirt sponsor.
This is unforgivable.
Unlike Chelsea (Thanks Curtism) or even Cronulla sharks a few years back, it's not like we are holding out for mega bucks, but to start a 27 game TELEVISED SEASON unable to flog the shirt sponsorship seems to highlight an appalling lack of commercial ability from the commercial department. Furthermore, it does "reek' of the other new "sponsors' actually not paying to be on the shirts either, given that "upgrading" sponsors to "match day sponsors" seems like all this commercial guy was capable of last year. Whilst I don't want the club to do a Newcastle and fold only to unfold crumpled and unusable, is this the right time for Hughes to cut the umbilical cord and let us sink or swim? Income wise we must be quids in given the squad/rent can't be costing us any more than last year and SL should add at least another 13,000 paying fans to the years total income, so maybe, if we are preparing for the lower tier next year we should do so without the anchor that is Hughes involvement weighing us down? Let's face it. We're not going to get anything like the funding in 2024 ever again with the same people doing the same thing and expecting a different result, are we?

I think the company behind the Smashlings, Toikido, have come in at the 11th hour as front of shirt/ collar? sponsors. We couldn’t really have done much more during their trial run so good to see it’s paid off.

With 1 broken leg & 1 buggered knee, Smashlings sounds about right.
