Dane Chisholm seems to be the perfect kind of Journeyman that London used to have no problem attracting. This time around though, he has a young family up north and Keighley have offered him terms to stay until he's 33, by which stage he may well have eyes on a return home to NSW.

I'm not sure if he was loaned to us as a "try before you buy" scenario, but if the club hadn't at least made an effort to entice him south, I think it shows that Hughes has had enough.

For me, we either get relegated on results or Hughes will plunge us into admin and we'll be relegated anyway, giving him a guilt free out (in his mind)......

Reckon Dane was purely a loan agreement doubt he was ever destined to be with us long term.
With his family settled up north the commute likely didn't appeal.
Real shame, he was the thing that's been missing on Sunday, a leader and organiser

Indeed it has shown what is missing. When Lenegan left we had Scott Hill, Mark McLinden and Danny Orr running things. Look at us now.

The only thing that makes me think this might be true is that it would be typical if we decided to construct a sub top 20 side at just the moment when teams needed to get in the top 20 to survive.

Not only is Gledhill an oaf, and completely unsuited to being used in a professional capacity by any club, he's also wrong on near enough everything he ever says.
