We know the club needs to look forward for another backer or preferably backers! But until one turns up maybe not biting the hand that feeds you is the best option.

Northernbloke we AGREE again. DH has not always made the right decision but he has kept us going and for that we should all be grateful that they still have a team to follow. I know I am. I love all the comments about he should buy this person or he should bring in that person, our fans are very quick to spend his money. Maybe he has hit the top of his spending ability and there is no more to come. Even rich people have limits and he does this on his own

Hughes dropping 2 million a year has delivered nothing other than a 2019 squad with 8 academy product who are expected to be relegated and who are watched by about 1,000 home fans....... Thats £24,000,000........for little if any ROI. Applauding him because you get to watch a few hames as selfish and one eyed as he is....

1. Survival based on the charity of one person isn't a sustainable, professional business plan....it is doomed to fail. My statement is not wrong at all.......if David Hughes was hit by a bus in the next 10 minutes, we'd be lucky to see out the seasons fixtures.........that's life support. Not sure about you, but being stuck in a bed for another decade being fed by a tube doesn't strike me as "survival"....more like purgatory.
2. You, a few posts back said tht our demise had been forecast plenty of times before, but yet here we are. Are you now agreeing that without Hughes we're buggered?
3. Sensible and David Hughes expenditure on the Broncos have no right to be used in the same sentence. He has repeatedly ignored any attempt to make us anything other than his toy. If you gave me £2,000,000 at the start of this year and said we were upping capacity to 3,500......the only thing I would have concentrated on was "selling" every seat for every game.....giving you £1,000,000 in gate receipts and a chance to take another £200,000 next year if 20% came back.......what David Hughes does is "invest £2,000,000 and gets nothing back.......since 2008, under his stewardship and concentrating on playing matters and not that marketing malarky....we have won 51 SL games (excluding 8's games) from 198 games......he spends £2,000,000 a year trying to make us competitive and he fails..........spectacular failure would be an apt description. ..........

His school report would read...."25% win ratio in SL and watched by 80% fewer fans than before he took over"..........defend him all you like, but to my mind he's a cancer eating the potential of a London club because he's too proud to admit he's wrong!
