We're not short of grunt, so if he was released at the end of his 2 year contact, it would make sense to go back to Leigh...solid worker
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

Be good to have him back...
"I know you've had a bad day, but there's no need to take it out on me"
Nice guy too. We sat with him a couple of times at hospitality in 2017 when he had a run of injuries. As you say a good solid worker. I remember him saying when his contract was up he fancied a crack at Australia, still going back to Leigh is probably a sensible move for him.

Luke Yates from Newcastle Knights has signed a 1 year deal and is currently training with the Knights squad to get as fit as possible before he joins you. Luke is a small middle forward, usually a lock. He played for NSW at under 16s and 18s level and has won player of the year in multiple grades at the Knights including reserve grade last year. He was offered a longer deal by the Broncos, but wants to have a big year and try to earn an NRL contract. The reason the Knights are happy to have him training is that he is always the best trainer in the squad and sets a great example for the young players. He is the smallest middle forward going around, but super fit and tough as nails.

No Sammut, seems they have lost their patience with him:- @LondonBroncosRL Announcement - Following the club trying everything they could to re-sign Jarrod Sammut he has unfortunately decided that, due to personal reasons, he will be leaving London Broncos. We thank Jarrod for his time at the club and wish him luck for his future career
