Well, we've spent the season playing with one half back, Sammut. Api is regularly injured, and often plays at centre anyway. Meadows isn't ready for this level of rugby, and is behind where Keyes was at the same age. Cunningham fills in very well at 7 but it weakens us at hooker. So we badly need another half.
As for Keyes, you're thinking about the player he was when much younger. It's difficult for any Londoner to come through at this level, even more so for a half back. He's a little older, certainly more experienced, and been working under an excellent coach at Bradford. Richard Marshall seems like a hell of a good coach as well, so if Fax are interested I'd be taking a look myself.
