Great ideas here. Some of it carrying on from the former Supporters Action Group. I'll donate another £100.

I'll donate as well. I'd like to see how things develop before I commit myself to a specific amount.

My point is more about the organisation of this whoel thing. With money being involved it becomes vital that everything is done properly and above board so that everyone involved can see where the money is going and who is accountable.
To that end maybe it would be better to form a supporters trust, not perhaps with the aim of taking control of the club like many of them do, but with stated aims of providing marketing support, etc. Supporters Direct wold be able to help, as would some of the ST's at rugby league clubs (Bramley, Swinton,??) and I believe that The Co-op might also be able to help in some way. Might even convince them to sponsor some things.

Same thoughts crossed my mind. With fugures like £45 000 being talked about it is imperative that the objectives, structure, governance, legal basis and financial controls are established before a single penny is handed over.

Good point and of course this was part of the reason we failed to get a new Supporters Club off the ground a year or so ago.

All interesting debate here. I'd be happy to offer some reduced design and print rates for any marketing materials required as a result of these discussions.

An invite for this gent should be in the post ASAP, a game as guest of the club and let him see that the game is watched south of Rugby...
