However, London defended really well and didn't make it easy for Fev (other than twice missing touch from penalties), and the goal-line defence was impressive for much of the game. Certainly no shortage of team spirit there, just need a bit more creativity in attack.
Good to know, not that our official platforms are saying anything. Similar picture against Haven and Halifax we defended well but do so for pretty much the whole game and eventually get worn down. Nothing much in attack: it appears many of our key creative positions are filled by promising players who arent quite there yet. Failing to find touch also happened against Haven- that’s pretty frustrating.

I've just read that What the f$_& is wrong with the club? Has Hughes walked? I can only assume that monkey leaving is down to somebody refusing to pay rather than it falling on it's own sword. The ladies are begging for players at an open trial night. The cup game is getting no promotion. The kids zone/fanzone appears to be permanently closed. There's little in the way of professional output either on or off the park. It's time for the club to open up.......every "old whiner" who gets banned for asking a reasonable question is another nail in the coffin of a toxic brand. Hughes is like the bloke that went all in with Betamax (the day Netflix launched)

Is even Lobster full time at the club ? His LinkedIn suggests he is presently a hockey coach (Sheen and Barnes), owns a hockey stick business (Hoek Hockey) and has a sports consultancy (MMQJ Ltd). Perhaps these are all just sidelines though.
He could actually do with updating his page as it says as LB CEO "My greatest achievement to date has been restructuring the club, after it was relegated from Super League in 2014, by moving the club to a single venue for training and playing as well as getting the junior teams on the same site."

Pathetic, isn't it.[/quote]
Beyond pathetic. The club is alienating it's hardcore support and not investing in a new support. The end result is sadly inevitable.

Well Donkey Dave's brave new world of tomorrow hasn't started too well has it? Perhaps it's time for a further message to point out which tomorrow he had in mind.
Some of Davs's words of Wisdom "5000 fans in 3 years has to be the target. That is where we need to be and we have got the best chance of achieving that in the Wimbledon area and with AFC Wimbledon Football Club as partners in my opinion.
This will not be easy. It will not happen overnight. There will be occasions when it may appear to not be working but we need every supporter of our Club, every fan of the great sport of Rugby League in the South East of England, to get behind this move and help to make the most of this opportunity we are presented with. If you are a former pass holder or spectator please take this chance to come back and engage with the Club. If you’re a pass holder or current attendee then bring a friend, introduce a colleague to our sport and most of all spread the word of the Broncos when you can."
Pretty hard for former pass holder or spectator's to re-engage when you have blocked them on Social Media I think Dave, and don't update your website so they have no clue about upcoming games Pretty hard to get to 5000 fans if when they attend a game, there is 0 fan engagement Dave, other than a weak squad who are unable to even score vs the bottom 4 teams in the League Pretty hard to get behind the move Dave, when you are spitting in the faces of your long term fans, and doing nothing at all to keep Wimbledon fans when they are bribed to come for a £1 ticket
Just how difficult is it to update a twitter feed or website with a game result. How difficult is it to ask somebody to dress as Dusty, and have them wander around the fans zone? How difficult is it to actually open the fans zone?
People will not even attend for free, if the product on the pitch is as bad as the Haven game, and there is zero engagement outside of the dross on the field, people will not return even for free

What Hughes needs to consider is that the club was here before him and will hopefully be here after he is gone. It is not his club, though he is in the fortunate position to be its custodian through the money he has made trading gas. Will he leave it in better shape than he found it ? Currently it seems not but that is how he will be measured by many fans.
