Think the best indication of a fans view is the bloke who can see the offside and forward pass from behind the sticks..
The reality is, if the ref calls it, then players need to shrug there shoulders deal with it and get on with the game.

This constant defending of referees is a bit tiring tbh. I don't like it when refs get it wrong the same as when a player knocks on or drops a catch.

The difference is that both should be open to criticism. We are talking about full time professional refs here over the last few games, I get it's a difficult and mostly thankless job but please stop with the what's your solution? angle and just just note that sometimes refs cock up as does the rest of the human race.

Why the obsession to come up with a counter point to everything that's noted on a refs performance is beyond me sorry.

Saturday was one of the most frustrating performances I've seen from a ref, personally I think he had a nightmare, could I do better? most certainly not but im not getting paid to do it, the ref is and when justified they should be criticised.
