Wq love yr optomism, although think you missed a couple of words out re the olympics. The japanese are pushing on with the olympics AT THE MOMENT! Govt in UK are already talking abput restructions next winter. My money would be on RLWC if it goes ahead, only being able to accomodate 50% capacity. Still think good chance it gets pushed back 12 months. As for our season april start earliest, most likely May.

If the RLWC was cancelled, would anyone be that bothered? It's not exactly a rip roaring must see competition where even a numpty can name the probable finalists.

No more predictable than the union WC which is a rip roaring success
Been to a few RLWCs over the years and thorougly enjoyed experience of them all, irrelevent of being pretty sure of knowing who was going to be in the final. Hope it does go ahead, got tickets for a few of the group games as well as semi and final, seen some cracking group games over the years so live in hope. Its not just about who is going to win it.

So yeah reckon a few folk would be bothered.
I’m one of the bothered. I’ve booked for the big games and am doing the opening weekend- England game in Toon, then Ireland v Jamaica in Leeds the following day.
