Feared the worst after the first 10 minutes but what a performance for the next 70. Definitely didn’t look like a top versus bottom game. Had a feeling if we got our noses in front we might just do it, even though we had to go beyond 80 minutes!! What a win - COYB!!!

[quoteYet another Monday Morning where I awaken to fantastic news.....sounds like what we lacked in talent we made up for in enthusiasm......I doubt the'll play a weakened side again in July!! 3 More wins and we're in with a shout....4 more and we could be safe. Bring on the French!!!!!][/quote]
Agree, but whilst they did play a decent team we were very disciplined defensively, didn’t give away stupid penalties and had a game plan, July may be different but this win will be a huge boost to our confidence!
Question: what’s wrong with Ioanne? We was only on for 15 mins so, or was I hallucinating again.........

I've just posted next weeks fixtures on the VT...all 6 of them count. This season is shaping up for a great final few weeks IMO....our last 4 games are winnable.....
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

Regarding the game on the 21st July against St Helens. This game is the week before the Semi Finals. Saints may well rest players with Wembley in mind.

We play them again week before cup semi.... I would not be at all surprised if they look safe for top 2 by then if they play a weakened side again... But I dont think Saints will make as many mistakes as yesterday
Reading there forum, they really want leeds to go down .... Seems we are getting a lot of anti-leeds love from some of the larger northern sides.
But if we can defend like that in the games coming up vs Cats and KR we have every chance of being off bottom come end of June.
Saints played a weaker side - oh well I dont suppose the fact that the squad they played would still cost twice what ours did. I dont give a stuff who Saints played or left out, every man jack of our players played with true grit, the want to win, put their heart minds and bodies , played for each other, played for the fans and the will to be a great team. Great game loadsa excitement and the best team won

I was trying to work out how many they brought? that's not including myself even if I was born in St Helens! good atmosphere, some of their tries we were weak, but you can't fault the effort of every one of our players, the changing rooms after the game were as if we had won the Cup! we have got to build on this, but of course we are as ever in the trap we can't even think of next season until we see what league we are in and no one can tell when that will become clear.
Saints fans none too pleased that Morgan was allowed to play, but he is with us for the season, they never liked him for a long time, it is only one month loans that seem to have restrictions on, then the Golden Point drop goal going under the cross bar lol, but no one can take away the win.
The lads can do it! we just need to put a run of wins together, not sure about this weekend though, Catalan back home for the first time since the Neu Camp, seems ages ago,
