No, I didn't count them but both "stands" were sparsely populated and IMHO, Wakefield had about 350 fans at the game. I've yet to see an announced gate for yesterday, but there's not a snowballs it was 4 figures......so if i am incorrect, it'll be by a few dozen, but in no way shape or form am I exaggerating.
Official gate was 1207, you need to count more sheep in New Zealand so you can be more accurate.

Not a chance in hell that there were that many there. There were about 200 Wakey fans in the new stand for the 1st half with about 150 of them transferring ends at half time. Half the seats in the David Hughes appreciation Stand were empty....there wasn't a queue for a beer, pie or loo all game.......but hey ho, if they want to claim ,1207 let them.......but let's be honest, even that figure is an embarrassment.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

So let's get this straight, you have never been to a game there before, certainly not this season, yet you're an expert on judging the crowd? For your information Ealing have an electronic entry system which scans even the players so the figure is bang accurate of everyone who has entered the stadium and as Ealing have no reason to make it up the figure is correct.
You have no qualifications in coaching or S & C yet want to 'beast the players' for 45 minutes after a game? What exactly was it you hoped to achieve by doing this? Did you take some advice from Len Casey or Alex Murphy?
CMG it is stupid of you to even suggest the crowd figures were wrong, that is an accusation of the club tampering with intake receipts. The club are not going to announce more than was actually there. If they did they would have the same force down on them as they did at the Stoop for incorrect entry figues. You must have double vision as there was no way on earth (was going to say Gods earth but you might take that as praise) there was 350 Wakey fans there. Also the fan base is growing slowly. Last year total attendances for both clubs was around the 600 - 700 mark this year has seen 1200 + at a relatively quiet game, (lot more for the bigger names). This means even if we pander to your whim and say 350 Wakey fans it still leaves a total of 850 + London fans which is more than the gate for both clubs last season. But I will agree we need to start a serious marketing campaign for the rest of the season
Saints are down for the first time so hopefully they will bring a few. Now that would raise some eyebrows if we ran em close. More importantly it might even interest a few neutrals in London into coming to have a look.

Whilst I don't dispute the number reported, you have already admitted to being an out and out liar so why should anything you say be trusted?
