I'd be running "test plays" in attack v Fax and concentrate on keeping them out. Catalans and Huddersfield are HUGE games for us, because if we can win those and Leeds have a bad weekend v Hudds and Wakey, then all bets are off.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
I thought your No22, Meadows(?) had a good game. Very enthusiastic and annoying and appeared to do a lot of organising - which was impressive for someone on debut.

Leeds v Huddersfield and Wakey v Leeds is a massive weekend for Furner and Leeds in general......if we can get 2 points over that period and Leeds get none, I reckon "new structures" will be in the blueprint phase...
2nd best?!!!

That was a great effort from London. The scoreline flattered a bit. That first 1/4 was the toughest Wire have had to defend all season. You'll stay up with gritty performances like that.
Well done. (Wire fan)

I remember a few years back, Wigan and Hull both running schemes specifically targeting London and Catalan games as an "opportunity" to build interest from NEW FANS........I am lead to believe that Heinz Big Soup being a small sponsor of SL for a number of years came from an initiative at Wigan where Heinz were sold a great number of tickets for a knock down price to give to their employees...... ....too many clubs (ours included) see marketing like this as devaluing the product, but Banks (and Drug dealers) always entice customers with knock down offers at the start, so you have to say there is some merit in it!
What you on about?

Wire ran a discounted scheme for tonights game, where Kids got in on the cheap with adults accompanying them for a fiver.....this is good work by the wire marketing team as it ensured that on a Friday Night when London would maybe bring 50 or so fans, the HJ wasn't half empty. EDIT: 11,718. in attendance tonight....bigger crowd than you got for HKR or Castleford.......Well done the Wire marketing team!
