He's not just "a bloke"....pure and simple and the welcome he got from not just me should be enough, but if you're that curious, run along and research some of his sneering and venom filled posts from back in the day. He claimed the move to Quins would destroy us and that we lost thousands of fans the minute we moved....then the slimeball stopped posting for a good few years until the Rot of Mackay set in and came back gloating......he's toe-jam and that's me being hard on toe-jam!
Also, anyone who starts a post with "don't mean to wind anyone up" most assuredly does......even you're not that naive are you?
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

I did find it strange that as someone who held a season ticket for many years, travelled to Australia to watch London Broncos in the World Club Challenge back in 1997, I became a figure of hate for some people just because I was so disgusted at London Broncos being renamed Harlequins Rugby League.
For anyone who knows about the history of Rugby League, to get into bed with a Union side was to me treachery. 'The forbidden game' by Mike Rylance is a wonderful book for those who would like to know more about how Union behaved towards League.
I couldn't stomach it and I stand by my views on it. Furthermore, there was an element of the support who relished the decline of the clubs status, so that they were able to be acknowledged by the players as if they were all best mates.
I remember how well this manifested itself when we had Jon Wells the winger who didn't score. People refused to admit he wasn't Super League standard just because he was a good bloke. This attitude and refusal to ever be critical was the reason London got relegated.
My interest in why attendances were no longer published was borne out of no ill will. I hope London Broncos get promoted.

I answered his question.
The rest of it should be nothing to do with you given you claim not to know of him or his history on here, but it's your narcissistic duty to delve into topics of which you claim to know nothing and no doubt when you feel uncomfortable in this "unknown" area, we'll drift into a refereeing thread

Mind boggling how someone who refers to himself as 'Call me God' can accuse someone else of being narcissistic.
