'Official Supporters Group' newsletter email just received, everything seems to be going well for the move to Plough Lane, Wimbledon are submitting the application to the Council, and it is known they are supportive, the vote from fans will soon go ahead, and no problems are envisioned, there are options B & C (not stated where) just in case any delays.
The club are looking for the right players to recruit, as are other clubs, credit every question submitted by members was answered.

There is a lot of things the Supporters club should know first because they have paid their money to join, but information on the situation of the new ground should be available to all supporters as it will effect all of those who will be attending matches.

Suppose the club are waiting for firm confirmation before issuing update on the ground, the supporters club were only given updates due to the online meeting.
One small part of positive news, the agreement with Plough Lane ground is 10 Years!

As I just said, the club must want it finalised yesterday, but until the Council rubber stamp & the fans, they can't make a firm announcement, the current lockdown is not helping, and all clubs are in the same position with season tickets.
The Dons Trust vote on the Broncos groundshare will be launched in the next few days. If the vote is positive, the planning permission will go in to Merton Council almost immediately afterwards.
The DT board wants to have some sort of post-season Legends type game in May before any rugby game, which will also serve as a necessary ground certificate test event. But the intention is for the Broncos to play this summer at Plough Lane.
Well what ever the first game is, lets hope we have done well enough up till then & it's a game we will win. If memory serves me well getting St Helens first up for our return to the Stoop & getting annihilated did us no favours in getting Union fans to give us ago.
