Buzza I would not argue that at all, I would say that when an investor was required a couple of years back when the club was in a much better position not many appeared,! In fact no one appeared. Taff I don't claim to know that, although I would suggest that had another backer stepped up then they would be the proud or not so proud owners. Does not take away the fact some are suggesting Mr hughes should go, he got close to doing that the club was within days of shutting down. Maybe being at Ealing is trying to get the club into a position where a new owner might see it as viable, less outgoings etc etc.

Oh was that the time when we had no players and no ground. A bit like burning your house down before trying to sell it.

I thought lovely sunny warm Sunday morning, no posts from the "whiners" but I was wrong one of the Very Few, The Minority appeared, the half full glass gang, who want always to live in the Past!

Not sure if I have it right here, is that not what he actually did, and we found out that actually there was no other financial backer and we would have folded. So he destroyed the club by keeping it alive?
So you would argue this painful decline makes the club more attractive to another investor ?
An investor would get the club for cheap that's for sure. Should the RFL change its stance and back expansion then maybe they are on to a good bet???
The only problem is for any "investor" is the nature of sport, they are not investing they are spending, investors usually like to get some money back. So I think the word really should be benefactor. Not being negative or being an apologist just a realist. until another Mr hughes or a Mr kougash pops up then we are going to have to stick with what we have. Fan owned and financed club! Nice idea but the numbers just don't add up.

What a very very odd post? The poster before you is time stamped at Saturday afternoon, but you feel the need to highlight the "whiners' on a Sunday morning some 19 or so hours later as if you're trying to goad them?
As for "living in the past", everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how they convey it or how often they feel the need to do so. Your pointed barb was nothing more than pointless and uncalled for trolling, designed to elicit a response. The post contained neither any comment about the open day of the shirts before xmas but was simply there to again highlight Cowgirl and other posters were still here.
The question is. Why? Why bother posting if you've nothing to say other than to....dare I say, "whine?

Strange response, you defend the whiners, the attack a simple comment? I would have loved to have been at the shirt launch today, but 225 miles each way was not possible in the last few working days before the holiday. Someone? asks will I be at Ealing this next season, the answer is Yes! as I have been at every ground we have played at since the first at Fulham, Happy Christmas, feel sure today will be a huge success whatever some may think, and good to see the way the business sector locally is reacting.
