It really does beggar belief.

According to today's League Express (page 5) the printers sourced a generic "Harlequins" photograph without noticing the difference between the two teams. So it's nothing to do with our club.

Unfortunately Gareth Haggerty went off in the first half with what appeared to be a knee injury.

It was a war of attrition, but we defended superbly.

It's what used to be called 'Heavy Woollen District' dialect.
'My owd cockspadger' is a rough term of endearment - used in a tender moment as your shawl were drying over 't rack above fire cos you'd got soaked to t' skin, walking home from 't mill, feeling fair clemmed and needing some drippin and bread for thi tea. If you were lucky......

That guy is the unpretentious Mick Morgan, a former player and coach who won the man of steel award in 1982.

He's done the commentary on Cas matches for years. His match calling is a laugh-a-minute if you can understand what he's saying and probably a bit baffling if you can't.

Have they not heard of editors in Cas? I can't think what our programme would be like if they just let the printers produce it. What a hoot!

They probably wouldn't bat an eyelid. There was a whole page devoted to Chambers in this weekend's programme, publicising his autobiography and an opportunity to meet him and buy signed copies at a local bookshop!
