As long as they stump up some cash or goods, it matters not that 1 is the family of a player & the other appears to have a Hull connection. Maybe we are going the way of F1 where you get a drive for a team if you bring in million pound sponsorship, only in our case £5 might get you a place on the bench.

TBF. The commercial dept are doing what they are meant to do, which is drive revenue towards the club. Hughes claims the shirt has more revenue this year than when we were at Barnet, which means more than selco were paying. The issue is, how much were selco paying given it was a deal organised by the fielding supremo.

Our shirts in r3cent season have been a real success. They’ve looked the part/stylish. As you say this season’s are yellow and blue like AFC Wimbledon. It turns out everyone was wrong it wasn’t the 3rd shirt that would go with that colour scheme. BTW who is the guy next to Rian in the advert.
Wearing blue & yellow for 1 season strikes me as pointless. And if you were going to play in blue & yellow just play in AFC styled shirts. As I've said before, chevrons are so passé in 2022.

Seems desparate to me. Trying to win over a few football fans at the expense of the faithful. Mind you the same applies to the whole move.
Reading into this, looks like we or the Dons are hedging bets. If the season is a success (unlikely) and thousands of dons fans turn up, then will probably keep it for next season as well, if however we get only a few Dons fans attending and gates <1K average, then switch back to black and use the "only one season" as excuse.
