If the support is bad now what is it going to be like when they move to Plough Lane. They said 2000 fans was not sustainable at Harlequins. How can 200 to 300 fans be sustainable at Plough Lane.
To be honest if the club finally does die a death of a thousand cuts then I think the carcass should be left to rot. Have found plenty of other things to do during lockdown so not likely to follow any phoenix team.

We will have to rise up again! I introduced a few new fans here in the last few weeks I had got to know! looking forward to Plough Lane, but after reading a few threads here, they decided they would give this site a Miss! no wonder, if you have had enough of the Club, then just disappear, no one will ever be missed! I just can't understand why some hang around still if they are that cheesed off!
I have been disappointed at times, but I would never let it get to me like some! if I can put up with West Ham since I was aged 6, and the three clowns running The Hammers, I can stand anything!
Wish all those leaving who have found other interests the best or those fed up, it was not worth putting any investment into publicity in currently at Trailfinders, I find the place depressing!

Do you set the standard for life or supporting a club? You won't be missed sadly seems to be the mantra for the club. Now we are down to the last 300. Do you see what happens when you slowly chip away at the 'ones and twos' who won't be missed??
Alas, although this group raised funds and sponsors the Academy Side, those in power decided to create a clique that they could control. Monitoring and barring people from Social Media channels if they dared disagree with anything the club and it's poundland oligarch owner decided, this new supporters group and the actions of those that control it has seen the core supporters of the club drift away. I have a database of about 100 Broncos fans who travelled away to Wales and Wakefield in 2009......fewer than a dozen of them still attend games.
That's the reality of the "Club that Dave Built"....we get fewer fans than London Skolars!
As an arrogant pr**k myself, I am in awe of how the owner can show his face as he presides over the demise of the club to the extent that we have 250 people wandering around a wedding venue when less than a decade ago we had 3,600 fans watch us play Wigan in a proper Rugby Stadium. He's alienated 3 landlords inside 8 years and there's nothing pointing to him not doing it again south of the River. He clings to the ideal of a "Barcelona" type club with multiple teams playing multiple sports and when the going gets tough, he allows himself to be steered by people who shouldn't be in charge of anything, let alone his substantial annual investment. Wimbledon FC care not a jot for what game we play...they just want the rent and he'll pay it because 200 or so fans won't cover the wages of a steward, let alone the matchday costs.
For the first time in over a decade I'm planning a trip to London that won't involve visiting the club to catch a game and spending a few hundred quid in the shop. I'd have considered myself a fervent (vocal/opinionated) and loyal supporter, but not any more.
As for starting another supporters group, we've done that and like everything else that wasn't Dave or his Minions idea, it's been ignored (or in this case, badly copied).
