If National League South can play in football I see no reason that Championship RL should not operate. Of course it may need to be behind closed doors but the game needs to adapt.

Don’t know much about football. Are National League South players full time/part time paid? Not sure the comparison is fair, another problem facing the Champs is travel, till Marrch no-one can travel, legally, in or out of London - players or fans. If London stays in 5 or parts of Yorks or lancs remain in 4/5 then again travel restrictions. I know if the Champs is deemed elite then I realise the players etc will be able to travel, but no fans. It just won’t work in my view

They are part-time. At National League level the league is regional but other elite level football requires national travel. If RL lacks the ambition to overcome these issues than don't be surprised if some fans learn to live without it.

The RFL has advised clubs in Betfred Championship and League 1 to pause their pre-season training programmes for the next two weeks, in recognition of the national crisis, and with more than seven weeks until the scheduled start of the 2021 season.

So then WQ obviously nothing has changed. Season start will be delayed as will first rounds of the challenge cup. My money will be april before any championship rugby league is played
I do not see The Championship starting until May at the earliest, if pre season is suspended until March. I would imagine that the loop fixtures would need to be dropped. So that the RLWC can go ahead.
