I really hope that we can stay up. Then the team that were relegated, who have been signing up players for next season in expectation of being in Super League, would be left with egg on their face. COYB.

Yeah, I think a wry smile might cross my lips if that were to happen.

It’s HOW you spend it that matters!

I have no idea how the club deal with the players partners. We have lost so many players where their significant other decides that they want to move back up North, others stay there. I am sure the other players partners make an effort to make them welcome. Do the club? A bit of effort in this department could reap benefits.
This is why we need to keep producing our own players- there is always the possibility of a Northern player ( or their other half) not settling down South. Didn’t Abdull only sign up for a year. Perhaps it was in the back of his mind that something like this might happen? Try London for a season and see how it goes.

Thing with Jordan, they have a new baby, club could do anything they wanted if she wants and needs the support of her family nothing is going to change that. As long as he produces the goods for the rest of the season that's all that matters at the mo

A whole different thread, but in short, Kids need to grow up before they start having their own kids.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
