Have said it all season, broncos don’t know how to win the penalty, laying on only becomes a penalty when the tackled player makes an effort to regain there feet! Place a foot you get the penalty make no attempt you get nothing. When the tackled player is dumped on there back and facing there own try line then you don’t get a quick ptb A good gauge of the ref is listen to the team benches! There was very little from either team on Sunday
They haven't been happy in a few games this season but the refs friend knows better. He knows how wonderful refs are and how little every RL fan knows about the game. If it wasn't for him putting us all right and the refs 99.9% accuracy we would all be misled. Get real northernbloke and watch the game with both eyes as you keep indicating I need to do

I watch games without looking through home team rose tinted goggles! Refs are rubbish when we lose! The other teams are always dirty! We are squeaky clean! I think not!
Refs are also rubbish when we win as stated before if the refs are so good why was the ref booed off at half time against Toulouse when we were wining 24 - 8
Well personally I have never reacted that way to any officials. Or more to the point any players. Match officials and hopefully players go into every game with the intention of doing the best job they can. Those that chose to boo the officials obviously think that’s appropriate, if and I say if, they have made mistakes or then it’s not deliberate or conscious, and when they review the video, just like the players they learn and develop. If supporters think booing is helpful then fine. Why did they boo, no idea, will say the players and team officials had no complaints though! Trust me if they do then they let folk know
Get real. They cannot vent their feelings if a player does the ref marks his card for that game and any future games he officiates at. The coaches cannot say anything their card is marked by refs and RFL. Do what you keep telling fans to do -0pen your eyes and see the real world . Fans want to respect everyone on the pitch but respect is earned and the continual inconsistency of refs is what is upsetting everyone. Rules you hardly ever see enforced now are matching back when arguing with the ref. Wigan are bad at that. Not playing the ball just stepping over it st Helens are masters at that. Moving off the mark Catalans have that down to perfection. I don't want to continually be upset by the bloke in the middle and his sidekicks I want them to stick to the rules laid down for the game and if that means continually blowing the whistle and sending people off until they totally accept the rules of the game then so be it. It won't take long to get the message across if the ref is consistent.

Perhaps because that ref seemed overly fussy on some unimportant stuff and inconsistent on stuff that matters. The penalty that led to the Toulouse try looked pretty random.
Get real on what? The players sat on the bench, the physio sitting on the bench, the water carriers sitting on the bench all react to events on the pitch, that has always been the case, players on the pitch appeal for things. There is nothing wrong with that, and as long as they stay in the technical area there is nothing in the rules that stops em doing it!
