Rovers are averaging 45 points a game so far this season, conceding just 9. I fear for the Broncos this coming weekend.....we could get an absolute pasting, so it may be worth resting any players carrying knocks.....

..then it's back to the RFC on April 23rd for Dewsbury. Interesting graphic on the London Broncos site regarding that game, but usual back of house errors aside, we really should be looking to win that tie and getting a plum SL fixture in the next round.

My thoughts are that I expect a reasonable but ultimately fruitless effort against Fev and, whilst we are in no position to expect to win any game currently, if we turn our noses up on a win against Dewsbury after I have travelled for an hour and 3/4 to get there we should be taken out and shot.

Just some slight clarification BT. When you say "we should be taken out and shot", do you mean the spectators or the players? This may assist people deciding if they want to risk going.

Yes good point DC. Team only. Fans have enough risk factor navigating the as yet to be condemned seating area. Watch your step ladies and gentlemen- you may find yourself falling through a hole in the floor.

...we did that in 2014 and even though we lucked out in 2018, Hughes still didn't learn his fciukgn lesson.

It may be true that we (Fev) are averaging 45 points per game but we are currently playing a very stripped-back, basic form of rugby, for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, we had three games in a row where we turned the ball over at least 8 times in one half, and that's mainly what has brought about the no-frills, 5 drives and a kick game plan.

Secondly, we've had a lot of injuries to contend with - currently both Johnno Ford and his half back deputy Thomas Lacans are out injured. Forward Elijah Taylor filled in for a week at half back but then he pulled out in the warm-up before the Batley game and is presumably a doubt again this week..

We're still awaiting the return of Chris Hankinson, Gadwin Springer, Mark Kheirallah, Junior Moors, and Kyle Evans so we've been shuffling players about a bit.

That said, it will still look a strong 17 that we put out on paper., and will obviously be favourites on Sunday. We just aren't quite the powerhouse team in terms of performances that the league table suggests, at least at the moment.

As an aside, does anybody know if the craft ale bar at the ground opens on Broncos match days, and if so at what time and is it accessible from inside the ground, or from the outside? Thanks.

Others will be able to assist on the pub but it has been open match days albeit it’s a little difficult to root out and I believe it’s only accessible from inside the ground.

Been awfully quiet since the Toulouse tornado hit them. Do you think they have found the airport to get home yet?

Relax DC I think we are just winding down towards the end of the season....in five and a half months time. No hold on that can’t be right. Possibly the effort of hiring two horse costumes a giant inflatable and running a (sort of) functioning website and social media feed has drained everyone. Hopefully several weeks spent in the bracing North of England coupled with some flying visits to the Kent Riviera will recharge our batteries.

Hopefully we can pull off a bit of a Halifax against Fev on Sunday. We'll be giving away a lot of size, against a big team, but who knows. Chuck it around and see what happens, the ultimate free hit out
